THREADED RODS Headless, fully threaded metal bars are available in stock lengths of 2 ft. to 12 ft. Cut to length with a hacksaw or power band saw. THREADED STUDS Headless metal rods are precut to standard lengths as short as 1/4". Can be threaded on one or both ends, or along entire length.

Fully Threaded Studs—Threaded the entire length with conventional threads. Commonly used with a nut on either end to clamp two parts together. Double-End Studs—General term for studs with an unthreaded portion in the middle and threads on both ends. Also known as stud bolts.
