Select the right Type and Style of Sorbents to meet your spill applications.
SORBENT TYPES: Oil Only/Petroleum: Repel water while only absorbing oil and other petroleum- based liquids. Will not absorb water or water-based liquids. Sorbents maintain strength even when maximum absorbency is reached. White color. Can be used to float on bodies of water, on land, or indoor applications.	Universal/Maintenance: Eliminate application guesswork by using gray universal sorbents. Absorb liquids, water-based or oil-based, while handling aggressive and non-aggressive leaks and spills in high-traffic areas, tool cribs, and routine industrial applications.
	Chemical/HazMat: Provides safe handling of aggressive spills and leaks for hazardous liquids. Available in green or yellow color to indicate intended use on hazardous liquids. Chemically inert; will not react with most harsh chemicals.

	SORBENT STYLES: Pads: Easy to use for small messes, while perforated rolls allow you to decide on the size you need. Sorbents are sold in light, medium, or heavy weight types. Can be cut or folded for wiping and final cleanup.		Pillows: Absorb larger volumes of liquids. Use in areas where chronic leaks and drips are a problem. Also work well in confined areas.
	Rolls: Can be used on all size spills and discharges. Choose from perforated and non-perforated rolls.		Drum Covers: Pre-cut to absorb fluids from top of leaking drums and prevent drips from reaching the floor. Place remaining skirt around drum base to catch any drips that spill onto floor. Fit 55- gallon drums.
	Rugs and Matting: Designed for heavy traffic areas to prevent slippage and eliminate tracking of spills.		Spill Kits: Allow for quick response to spills in your facility, outdoors, or on the road. Available in a variety of sizes and components to meet your needs and properly dispose of.
	Booms/SOCs: Use around the base of machines and equipment to contain and collect seepage. Available in mini, single, and double. Use on water to contain/absorb floating oils, or on land to form an absorbent barrier to help prevent the spread of spills.		Granular/Particulate: Sprinkle over oils, coolants, grease, water, and other liquid to minimize dust and sweep up for easy cleaning.

EPA Standards: • 40 CFR 112.7 (1997) Requires you to prevent spills from reaching U.S. waterways. • 40 CFR 122.26 (1997) Requires you to protect waterways from contaminated storm water.

OSHA Regulation: • 29 CFR1910.22(a)(2) (1997) Requires clean and dry floors in the workplace. Good housekeeping is part of any good maintenance and safety program. By keeping the source of the spills and leaks wiped clean, you will keep your areas under control and reduce liability.
