Retro reflective materials shall not
be less
than 35mm (1.38") wide. Recommended
for railway, road construction and
utility
workers, and survey crews. Performance Class 3 Garments intended to provide the highest level of visibility for workers exposed to significantly higher vehicle speeds and/or reduced sightdistances, and where the wearer is visible at a minimum distance of 390 m (1280 ft.). |
Retro reflective materials shall not be less
than 50mm (1.97") wide. Recommended
for flagging crews, roadway construction
workers, utility workers, survey crews,
and
emergency response personnel. Performance Class E Garments not intended to be worn without a Performance Class 2 or 3 garment. Garments have a minimum of 0.30 m2 (465"2) of background material and 0.07 m2 (108"2) of retroreflective material placed 50 mm (1.97") or more above the bottom of the leg. |
