Determine BtuH needs using table at right.
The table does not include people or
equipment
loads. Add 600 BtuH per person. For
heavy
shade, reduce by 10%. For sunny spaces,
increase
by 10%. For use in a kitchen, add 4000
BtuH.
Energy StarŪ-qualified room air conditioners are 10% more energy-efficient
than conventional models.
EER (energy efficiency ratio): The higher the number, the more efficient
the unit. |
